Leveraging its mature expertise in green building material R&D and prefabricated construction, Xinkang New Materials successfully delivered a wooden housing project in Dubai. By deploying a “Smartly Made in China” green building solution, the company earned recognition in the Middle East's high-end construction market, setting a shining example for domestic new materials expanding overseas. Dubai's tropical desert climate-characterized by intense heat, scorching sun, and frequent sandstorms-demands exceptional weather resistance, fire safety, thermal insulation, and dimensional stability from building materials; these requirements have historically posed significant challenges for the implementation of traditional wooden structures.
To address these unique environmental conditions, Xinkang New Materials utilized its proprietary modified wood-plastic composite (WPC). Treated with multiple processes-including anti-corrosion, flame-retardant, sun-resistant, and anti-cracking measures-the material is perfectly suited to the extreme desert climate, offering superior thermal insulation and eco-friendly properties that meet Dubai's green building standards. The project employed a prefabricated modular construction method, featuring standardized factory prefabrication of components and rapid on-site assembly; this approach significantly boosted construction efficiency while mitigating the impact of harsh outdoor weather. The successful completion of this project not only demonstrates Xinkang New Materials' technical prowess and product quality but also provides a novel solution for the development of green prefabricated architecture in the Middle East's high-temperature regions, helping Chinese green building technology gain a deeper foothold in overseas markets.
